It’s been almost a year and thanks to my awesome brother, Steven, we have our computer back!! Can’t wait to start blogging! :)
Here are some pictures from our most recent Family Day. After going over all of our options of “fun” things to do (amusement parks, fun worlds, etc.) we quickly realized that with five people, they were also quite expensive things to do! With a little planning and some help from google, ;) we came up with an almost free day, and had probably more fun than we would have had we gone with one of the first choices!
Oh – and here’s a picture of something else that made me stop and smile recently.
Here are some of the things that have been said around our house recently that have either made us smile, laugh out loud, or just feel blessed. :) Thought Our far-away family might enjoy.

I can remember taking a book out and hopping on that swing on quiet Summer days…spinning until I got sick…the indescribable thrill of that tickle in my tummy from going so high it secretly scared me… ahhhhhh… Well guess what my sweet hubby did this week?
Brogan is one year old! I really can’t believe it, but it’s true! We took a quick trip down to NC to see Wes’s Mamaw who was visiting from TN over the weekend, so we had Brogan’s party there. Here are some pictures of his big day…
We recently decided it was time…past time, to get away from the city. Far, far away. We needed it. :) Here are a few shots from our day in the quiet countryside. ahhhh…’nothing like it.
Still cleaning out the drafts folder, and this one made me laugh. I think I originally typed it out just so I would remember it, but might as well share, right?
The moon has been especially beautiful for a couple of nights in a row now. That, along with the fact that the weather has been absolutely gorgeous, has made the back deck a very popular gathering place in the evenings around here. Last night, we took turns playing around with the camera trying to get some shots of the moon.
