We’ve all been a little under the weather for the last couple of days here at the Guynn’s. Nothing major, just plain old not feelin’ good.
This evening after Wes came home, I decided to take five minutes and just close my eyes. Addison was a little fussy, so I let her get up on the bed with me to play, then re-closed my eyes. (more…)
We just got home, early Sunday morning, from taking the teens from church to a two-day camp. We decided to take the kids along – just knew we’d miss them way too much if we left them!
A couple of days ago, the kids were sitting at the table eating their lunch, when I noticed that Addison wasn’t too interested in her food. This is pretty typical as Trey is a very good eater, and Addy, well she just has more important things to do. (more…)
This is a story about one of the craziest days in the life of the Guynn family. :) I wrote it all down a few months ago, and just decided to share it. It’s a bit long, but if you need some encouragement or maybe just a good laugh then this is for you!
Well, we’re home from our Spring-break trip to MD! We had such a good time visiting with family and friends. Wes and I were just talking about the amazing way that God worked our trip out, and Wes suggested that I share the story on our blog. So, here it is… (more…)
Well, poor Mom and Dad – we didn’t quite ask if we could come, just said we were coming. :) They’ve been awesome about everything – haven’t complained once. They say they’re just glad we have a chance to be together.
We’ve been counting the days for weeks now, and our Spring-break visit finally came! We hadn’t seen “Paw-Paw”, “Ma-Maw” and all of the Aunts and Uncles since Christmas. Way too long for all of us! :) We’re having a blast just hanging around here at the house and spending time together.
A couple of days ago, Trey was playing and ran right into the corner of our bed. He hit just above his eye – it was a pretty hard hit too. He came to Wes and me for a little sympathy, and told us through his tears, “I hurt my eye-brow!”. :)
The other night, Wes was watching a video clip on the computer of a cat entitled “Dead Cat”. I think it was some kind of commercial or something. Anyway, the cat walks up the hood of a car, stops and stares at the sun roof hole, then sticks his head through the opening, and the sun roof closes. Then the cat’s body goes limp and falls off of the car, minus it’s head. Really gross. (more…)
Today at lunch time, I put Addy in the highchair that pulls up to the table, and let Trey sit in a “big boy chair”. Trey was having chicken nuggets, with his all-time favorite treat – ketchup! :)
