Excuse the Mess

This evening we were shopping in Target, getting some last minute things for our upcoming camping trip. On our way to the checkout, I remembered that Trey and Addy were almost out of toothpaste. We stopped in the toothpaste isle, and while I was busy reading labels, Trey was sitting in the cart trying to make a decision of his own. ;) Why are there so many choices!

Earlier this evening before bedtime rolled around, I was working on going through all those boxes of “too-small” and “to-grow-into” clothes that I had packed away. All of the boxes were stacked in Addison’s closet, so as I went through them, I was separating piles in her bedroom floor.

A few nights ago, we were all together in the livingroom having family devotions. We’re still working on the being quiet part though, ;) so Trey was being a little noisy. We were almost finished, when he just started talking, right out loud. (more…)

Earlier this afternoon, I was having Trey help me do a quick pick-up of the house before Daddy came home. Every time I ran across a toy, I handed it to him and asked him to put it away, in a specific place, while I worked on other things. (more…)

Thought I would share a few pics and special memories from our 4th of July Holiday! Also, we recently kidnapped Timothy ( ;) ), and are loving having him with us for a couple of weeks!

Spent the first part of our day at home, then went to Papaw and Grandma Guynn’s for burgers and swimming. :)
