A couple of nights ago, we were all watching a movie together. In this particular movie, the main character – a little boy, didn’t have a Mommy. Trey was a bit confused by this, so I tried to explain that his Mommy had gotten very sick, and had died. Trey seemed to feel truly sorry for the little boy, but of course, being Trey, couldn’t rest until he had figured out the cause of the poor womans death. (more…)

‘Hadn’t ever thought about this one before, but here’s a very profound observation – made by Trey at the dinner table. ;) “Bugs awen’t vewy sensible…they only eat gwass.”

I was snuggling with Addison last night before she fell asleep, when I leaned over by her ear and said, “I love you Addison”. I smiled and waited for the usual, “I love you too, Mommy”. (more…)
