I was in the bathroom getting ready this morning, when Trey came in and sat down for a chat. He said, “Mommy, I wanna talk about when you were a yittle girl and Paw-paw used to give you spankings.”

The Snowman!
Saturday, January 9th, 2010Here are some pictures of Trey and Addy’s first real snowman. This is the first time they’ve actually helped build one anyway. 
He’s a little on the smaller side as the snow was very “powdery” and we had to use a spray bottle to make it stick. Addison enjoyed “helping” until she got some snow on her skin…then it was time to go inside! (more…)
A Thankful Heart
Thursday, August 20th, 2009Yesterday evening, in our way to church, we stopped by my favorite little consignment store (ouac.com ) to pick up the rest of my items that were finished being processed. I saw a really cute little shirt and vest for Trey that I just couldn’t pass up…especially since I was getting store credit.

Mommy Instinct
Thursday, March 5th, 2009I have been enjoying watching Addison “Mommy” her baby doll these last couple of days. Every time I sit her down with her toy basket, she knows right away what she’s looking for. Never fail - she digs until she finds her baby. She talks to her, kisses her,and pokes her eyes.
