I was in the bathroom getting ready this morning, when Trey came in and sat down for a chat. He said, “Mommy, I wanna talk about when you were a yittle girl and Paw-paw used to give you spankings.”

Thursday, January 21st, 2010Just thought I would share a couple of the flattering comments I have received from my sweet little Trey this week. For anyone who hasn’t already noticed, my baby bump has been growing quite rapidly. 
I finally broke down and started wearing maternity clothes this week! Well, Trey has been especially interested in people’s sizes lately…an interest which can sometimes lead to some very unusual conversations. Anyway, a couple of days ago, he asked me, just out of the blue, “Mommy? Um…are you gettin’ fat?” Nice. (more…)

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009A few weeks ago, Trey became fascinated with painted toe-nails. He soon decided that he wanted to have his own done! We had a little talk about “boy things” and “girl things”. I tried to help him think of all of the cool things boys get to do that girls can’t.

Thursday, March 5th, 2009I have been enjoying watching Addison “Mommy” her baby doll these last couple of days. Every time I sit her down with her toy basket, she knows right away what she’s looking for. Never fail - she digs until she finds her baby. She talks to her, kisses her,and pokes her eyes.
