Yep, you probably guessed it – baby number four will be making it’s appearance sometime around January 6th! We couldn’t be happier. :) Addison has high hopes for a little sister, but says she will love either one…ahem, and also added, “but if this one isn’t a girl, we have to have SIX kids…and the last two will have to be girls.” Haha – that’s only fair, right?? ;) (more…)

Noooo! Can’t be happening! ;) Time is going just a little too fast for this mama’s comfort! It’s a happy/sad thing I guess. We are enjoying watching everyone grow and mature…it really is an incredibly beautiful part of life…just wish there were a pause button sometimes. ;) God probably knows that I would make use of the button way too often though, if given the chance, and my poor kids would never be allowed to grow up!  (more…)

I have been wishing for a tire swing…like the one I had growing up, for quite some time now. I can remember taking a book out and hopping on that swing on quiet Summer days…spinning until I got sick…the indescribable thrill of that tickle in my tummy from going so high it secretly scared me… ahhhhhh… Well guess what my sweet hubby did this week?

Brogan is one year old! I really can’t believe it, but it’s true! We took a quick trip down to NC to see Wes’s Mamaw who was visiting from TN over the weekend, so we had Brogan’s party there. Here are some pictures of his big day…

The moon has been especially beautiful for a couple of nights in a row now. That, along with the fact that the weather has been absolutely gorgeous, has made the back deck a very popular gathering place in the evenings around here.
