The Guynn Family

Father’s Day 2012

Some pictures, and the story of our “Celebrate Daddy Day”, told by Trey with help from Mommy.

On Father’s day, we got up early and made a special breakfast for Daddy.

We surprised him by all waking him up and jumping on his bed.

And then he shared his breakfast with us. ;)

Here are Daddy’s surprises waiting for him to find them. We wrapped them with duct tape so they would look cool and not be too girly.

Brogan is big enough to help now. He drew lots of spots on Daddy’s banner. We told him he did a good job.

We had fun giving Daddy his presents.

This picture makes Mommy laugh. Brogan thought his present looked good on him. He looks silly! (*lots of giggles*)

Here are some presents from Addy…

This is the shirt I gave to Daddy. I think it’s the best thing I ever gave him. I love Daddy and he’s my best friend.

Here’s a picture of us eating lunch after church. Mommy says maybe we should call it dinner in case Papaw reads this. Brogan is in his pjs because he took a nap.

When it got dark, Daddy made a fire in the fire pit.

We sat around the fire and Daddy and Mommy and Uncle Daniel played music.

Brogan is hiding from the camera, but he’s really not shy.

We piled up lots of blankets and pillows and looked at the stars. Brogan looked at the stars too, he just didn’t stay long enough to be in the picture.

We all helped make a yummy surprise for Daddy. :) His favorite dessert is homemade cheesecake, so we made that. It looked a little funny, but it still tasted good.

Daddy says he had a fun day. We are glad. We love him a lot. I’m glad he’s my best friend. We decided a long, long time ago that we were gonna be friends and we never ever ever forgot about it…not even when I grew up to be five. We will never stop being friends. Not ever.

The End.

Wow Trey, that was an awesome shirt you gave your daddy. And I loved reading all about the day- the way you told about it was so much fun! I hope someday I have a son like you- your daddy must be very proud. :) I miss you!
