The Guynn Family

God’s Grace Is Sufficient! :)

Well, we’ve been on the hunt for a house for several weeks now…and still don’t seem to be much closer than we were when we started. Dad and Mom (and all of the rest of the family!) have been so gracious to share their home with us in these last few weeks. It has been interesting ;) , but we have enjoyed the time spent together, realizing that we probably won’t all be close enough to be together like this for long.

Combining two families with very different ages (hence very different schedules :) ) and then throwing Wes’s crazy work schedule into the mix has made for some exciting times! ;)

While we have caught ourselves starting to get discouraged on more than one occasion, we’ve been quickly reminded of the goodness and grace of God! What would we do in a time like this without family close-by?! Also, God has lovingly reminded me of the fact that though our problems seem huge from our human perspective, God sees the big picture…which I have a feeling makes everything seem just a bit less gigantic. :)

I can’t help thinking of all of the blessings (which I might add are even “huge-er” than those “huge” problems ;) ) that God has showered us with. My pregnancy is going well, the kids are healthy, we haven’t been in any car accidents, Wes has a good job…the list could go on and on! Especially when you think of all of the horrible things that could happen, that haven’t! :)

And while finding a house can still probably be found somewhere near the top of our our “Urgent Prayer Requests List” at the moment, we realize that this is a learning time for us. A time of trusting, growth…and a time for learning lots of very interesting ways to stay organized! ;)

One of my favorite verses…

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” II Cor. 12:9

We are grateful.
