The Guynn Family

Juice Or Milk?

Wes has been working a lot of nights lately, and Trey has kind of had a hard time getting used to Daddy not being home at bedtime. A few mights ago, Daddy was working the night shift again, and Addy had already gone to bed, when Trey started feeling upset about Daddy leaving.

Feeling bad for the little guy, I asked Trey if he wanted to stay up and pick out a movie for a “date” with Mommy. :) The movie had just barely gotten started, when Trey decided that he needed some juice. I told him that he could have milk, but that juice would make him wet the bed since it was so late. He looked up and promptly assured me, “I won’t wet the bed Mommy!” Then he hesitated for a second and added, “Um…I’ll wet the couch…” :)

I’m sorry Wes is working night shift. I had a hard time when Waylon did. I have a lot of fun memories hanging out with the Nathan though.

  7. What a sense of humor and great sign of plenty more to come! :) Brannon still works nights, for school- you are so blessed to have a little company. ;)

  11. :) Yeah, the night shift has taken some getting used to for all of us, but I’m learning (as I’m sure you already have) that it just takes a little planning and some adjusting of schedules to make it work. :) I am very thankful for the company of little ones! ;) What would we do without them?!

    Hope y’all are doing well.

  17. Aw, thanks Amy! We’re finally starting to get used to it…though I did have a “pregnancy moment” the other night after he left and started crying for some reason! :) It has been a good bonding time for Trey and me though (Addison is usually in bed when he leaves). Wes and I are just learning to plan ahead to make sure we still take time to spend together.
