Most of my favorite talks with Trey happen either at bed-time, or nap-time. :) Funny, but it’s always during these quiet cuddle times that he just seems to open up his little heart and tell Mommy anything and everything that’s been on his little mind. Absolutely precious moments that I wish I could record and save forever! I am so looking forward to Addison being able to express herself in this kind of detail! :)
This afternoon, I snuggled up with Trey for his nap and waited for the very familiar, never-fail question…”Mommy, can I lay on Bwogan?” I smiled and of course answered, “Sure.” :) Trey laid his little head on my growing belly just like he does every day and waited quietly. He says he can “hear” Brogan. ;)
Trey has a favorite song that I sing to him, about him being my precious boy – which he always makes sure is sung from beginning to end, reminding me of any part that is accidentally left out. :) After we finished singing today, Trey said, “Mommy, Bwogan is a special boy, too. I like to lay on him and cuddle him…I lub him. And I like to kiss him. I like to kiss Addy, too.” ♥
I can never remember all of the precious little things that he shares, but I wish there were some way to capture all of these priceless moments! I’ve been tempted to leave a recorder by the bed. :) Time passes too quickly, and lately I have been constantly reminded that we have to cherish each day with our little blessings from God!
