Well, poor Mom and Dad – we didn’t quite ask if we could come, just said we were coming. :) They’ve been awesome about everything – haven’t complained once. They say they’re just glad we have a chance to be together.
It just so happened that the week we could come, fell right in the middle of their remodeling project. Since they haven’t finished their other bathroom, they are very generously sharing their only bathroom with each other, and now all four of us.
I think that sharing the same bathroom has brought us all closer together…:) Also given us all a few good laughs, and most importantly made some pretty good memories!
The first day that we were here, the bathroom was occupied, when Trey announced that he “had to go potty!”. Not knowing quite what to do, I rushed him outside, where I explained to him that, we don’t usually do this, but he was going to have to go outside – this was kind of an emergency.
I just had to let him go by a tree – horrible of me I know, but you do what you have to do, right?
Well, much to my embarrassment, the next day he was playing in the yard, when suddenly he realized that he needed to go again. He looked up at his Aunt Hannah, and said sweetly, “Aunt Hee-nah, I pease go potty on your tree?”
That’s so funny! He’ll be forever hooked!
lol….But trees are more fun, Mom!
